SAVANT II 2025 Eau de Parfum is a reimagining of the original SAVANT Eau de Parfum from a few years back. This new version showcases 2 of our best wild Oud oils, plus 2 different rose oils: Vintage Georgian Rose and Afghan Kush Single Reserve.
The original SAVANT was meant to showcase our in-house style of Rose and Oud in a classic accord, intentionally restrained, with a strictly limited number of ingredients, featuring only Viet Oud and a delicate, almost gossamer, Vintage Georgian rose oil. The new formulation of SAVANT II 2025 reflex this underlying structure and intention, and is definitely not a radical departure from the original formula. The new formulation of SAVANT II 2025, however, features more sparkling rosy topnotes, courtesy of the bright dynamism of our Kush Single Reserve rose oil, and an Oud presence that is slightly more juicy and fruity with a thread of smoke, courtesy of a little Cambodian jungle magic.
SAVANT II 2025 is a straightforward, yet exquisite, classically formulated perfume crafted by Pierre Black as an homage to our own in-house Oud SAVANT and company founder Tony Bolton using some of Tony’s favourite scents. We are sure that he would have loved this one.
Only 12 bottles were created. 30 ml volume.
One hundred percent natural ingredients like all perfumes by Pierre Black and Aroma Sublime.
Unisex. Easy to wear for all genders but leaning toward a scent that is traditionally considered slightly more feminine.
Suitable for all climates, day or night.
8% premium aromatic materials, including essential oils as well as solid resin materials.

The new Savant was waiting for me when I got home this evening. The fragrance is gorgeous - incredibly rich, vivid and at the same time warm and balanced. For me, the smoke in the oud joins deservingly in the overall composition and adds to the intrigue.
I have come back to sniff the bottles a half-dozen times this evening. I enjoy the Kush similarly. I plan to spend time on holiday later this week with the samples you were so generous as to include.
