• full scent description: TERENGGANU MYSTIC RESERVE is opulent, delicate, and surprising; this exquisite single-tree Oud opens with fresh ripe red pears and black wine grapes, black soil, salt, wet stone, soft natural leather, bright acacia honey, and vanilla pod.
There's a beautiful thread of delicate smoke that weaves through, most likely from the wood-fired distillation process. (but we would definitely not describe this as a smoky Oud, although the smoke featured here is important to the overall experience. It's also important to note that generally speaking, in the broader Oud world, smoky notes are imparted as a result of higher temperature distillations where some burning at the bottom of the still has occurred. This creates a less desirable, bitter and aggressive “smoky” note. You may rest assured with this gorgeous low temperature distillation, that this is not the case.)
As the heart opens, this Oud settles down into a very smooth blissful ride with very ripe black cherry, a medley of fine new hardwood, more vanilla, some classic dried fruit notes like raisins and dates, and the finest cigars and humidor. The finish is as smooth as glass; finest cigars and humidor, palm sugar, and exotic hardwood.
